Everything about this stunning vintage cocktail cabinet is, unashamedly, absolute, Art Deco
The "Art Decoratifs" movement started in Paris in the 1920s.
By the 1930s, when this stylish cabinet was made, Art Deco was firmly established and instantly recognisable by its iconic sharp lines and angles.
This cocktail cabinet is stunningly restored, paying tribute to those quintessential design roots.
The wrap-around forest green, gold, and teal geometric design of the doors and sides is carried through to the interior, making it as beautiful inside as it is striking outside.
The top extends horizontally, with the central section being made of glass. This clever combination gives you maximum work surface to hone your mixology skills. The original lemon squeezer and cocktail pins are happily intact and in full working order.
The "Bees Knees" cocktail inspired the colour palette used to restore this cabinet. A popular party cocktail of the era, and made with Gin, lemon juice and honey. The honey, no doubt, added to sweeten and mask the strength of what was probably bathtub gin, and therefore nowhere near as refined as the gins we know today.
And, when you add "Turnidge of London" into the (cocktail) mix, you have a truly eye-catching cabinet that will bring a little piece of the 1930s era into your home. The bees knees of home entertaining.

Art Deco Style
This style of design is well over a century old and, whilst other styles have come and gone, Art Deco has never really gone out of fashion. The bold lines, symmetry and ornamental design make it a brilliant foundation to base any room design on.
Working with an Art Deco piece of furniture is inspirational. You can either dress the rest of the room up, or dress it down. Keep things softly muted, perhaps add in some luxurious fabrics for soft furnishings. Or add more art deco items, an occasional table, light fittings and geometric shaped seating.
Adding an Art Deco cocktail cabinet to a dining room or lounge will give it an instant 1920’s “Great Gatsby” feel. Beautiful, eye-catching, practical, functional, but always bang on trend.
