Beautility has a rich history dating back to 1896 when the Sadovsky brothers opened their cabinet makers shop, Sadovsky Bros, in London’s Shoreditch area. By the 1930s, the name had evolved into Beautility, gaining widespread recognition for crafting high-quality furniture, including dining room tables, chairs, and sideboards. The reputation of Beautility’s craftsmanship reached far beyond the UK, with many pieces exported to America.

Beautility’s Enduring Legacy and Modern Sophistication:

Beautility’s legacy continued during World War II when they utilized their expertise to manufacture essential items for the Ministry of Supply. After the war, at the request of the Board of Trade, Beautility focused on producing utility furniture for post-war reconstruction. Today, Beautility furniture remains highly sought after, cherished as historical pieces that stay true to their heritage while offering a touch of modern sophistication. Prices start at £995 for the refinished sideboard which includes an online design consultation with you, a mood board and samples to help you choose your colour and design and visualise the finished piece and the sideboard refinished in the colour and geometric pattern of your choice, to your bespoke specification.

A deposit of £250 will secure you the sideboard in its current state and the design consultation, mood board and samples.

The full price will be agreed following our design consultation and the remainder will be payable at that point.
